SCHOOL PROGRAM

CINÉMENTAL normally presents movies on the big screen in a theatre in October and November.

 

This year, due to the pandemic, the CINÉMENTAL SCHOOL PROGRAM is offered from May 3rd to June 18, 2021. We are offering super fun activities, in French only, to do at school with film screenings and virtual workshops in collaboration with the Quebec Cinéma lab.

DATE & COST

Registration period: from April 6 to May 7, 2021

Period to carry out your activity: between May 3 and June 18, 2021

Cost: $3 per student - negotiable for a large number of students.

REGISTRATION & RESERVATION SYSTEM

Be sure to register a specific number of students. Cinémental reserves the right to require payment for the number of places reserved, regardless of the number of students present. We accept cheques (no credit cards or money orders).

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

SCREENING A FILM     

A link and password will be provided to you to screen the film, the link will be time sensitve. If you choose to have a discussion, led by a Quebec Cinema facilitator, after seeing the film, either   a few days or a week later, you will be given a password a few days or a week after seeing the film, you must be able to use the google meet or zoom system.

WORKSHOPS

For the workshops, the class must be equipped with a computer connected to the Internet, a microphone, a projection system with speakers, and a camera so that the Québec Cinéma team can have a visual connection with the class.

Félix et le trésor de Morgaa

The adventures of 12-year-old Félix, who sets out to find his father with Tom, a retired sailor. They will go to a mysterious island, discover an underground city and an amazing treasure, protected by the dangerous Morgaa.

Félix et le trésor de Morgaa

During World War II, to save their lives, a family plans to meet in a free zone. The parents leave on one side, while on   the other, their two teenagers, Maurice and Joseph, go on a memorable journey. Based on the novel by Joseph Joffo.

A very popular workshop!

Presentation of short films, with contextualization and analysis by the Québec Cinéma team.

2) Film Lesson

A privileged meeting between professionals in the field and young people. From scriptwriting to directing, editing, acting

editing, acting, sound design, photo direction, animation techniques, etc.
