This documentary explores Francophone and African immigration in Manitoba, a province perceived as a good place to live. Through testimonials from African immigrants and community representatives, a favorable and encouraging portrait is painted of the stakeholders in the community and the services offered to newcomers. A special tribute is paid to André Doumbé.
